Terms and conditions

Rules for using the website. The work itself is a separate written scope.

Effective 5 October 2026. These terms cover use of the Augms Windows & Door website. They do not, by themselves, hire us to supply or install a window or a door. A project proceeds only when you and Augms accept a written scope.

Using the site

You may read the pages, compare services, and ask for an estimate. You may not break the site, scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or republish its text as another business. The site is in Canadian English for people arranging work in Manitoba. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site.

What the pages are

Service pages describe the kinds of replacement and installation we schedule. They are an overview. They are not a promise that every size, colour, or glass package is available on your elevation, and they are not engineering advice for your wall. Egress and other code questions follow the rules adopted where the building stands. You still need the local approval that applies to your project.

Estimate requests

The form asks for contact details and a project note, then posts to a PHP script. If the script accepts the message for sending, you will see a confirmation or a confirmation page. That is not a booking, not a guaranteed visit, and not confirmation that the message is already in our inbox. A phone call or an email is a request for a conversation, not a contract.

Paid site visits

A site visit is charged. We do not publish the visit price, payment terms, or a claim that a measure or an estimate is free. A price is an offer only when it is in writing and names the openings, the products, and what is not included.

Written scopes

A price is an offer only when it is in writing and names the openings, the products, and what is not included. Comments made while measuring are not a fixed price. We may decline work that is outside this practice, including structural curtain wall and openings we cannot reach on a reasonable schedule.

Photographs

Photographs show opening types. They are architectural illustrations, not a file of named Augms jobs, and they are not photographs of Augms work or of buildings in Manitoba unless a caption says so. We do not publish client reviews on this site. Dimensions and prices on these pages are not standing offers. Sources and licences for the image files are listed in assets/CREDITS.txt.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, and logo mark as used on this site are for Augms. You may share a link. You may not copy the writing or the design for another company. Photograph sources and licences are listed in assets/CREDITS.txt.

Acceptable use

Do not send unlawful or misleading content. Do not probe the site for vulnerabilities. A good-faith note about a security or accessibility problem can go to the contact email; it is a report, not permission to keep testing. If we link to another domain, that site has its own terms. A link is not a partnership.

Site, not a warranty

The website is provided as-is. To the extent Canadian law allows, we disclaim implied warranties about the site itself, including uninterrupted availability. Nothing here is a manufacturer’s warranty, a financing offer, or a promise of energy savings. This website does not state a product warranty.

Liability

To the extent Canadian law allows, Augms is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that comes only from using the website, including loss from treating a general article as a substitute for a site measure. This limit does not remove liability that cannot legally be removed, including liability for negligence causing injury where an exclusion is prohibited. A signed contract for the physical work has its own terms. Those terms govern the work. This page governs the website.

If you misuse the site or send content you had no right to send, you will cover reasonable losses and costs that come from that misuse, except to the extent we caused them by our own negligence or wilful misconduct. That does not apply to an ordinary request for an estimate.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and of Canada, without cutting off a consumer protection right that cannot be waived. A dispute about the website belongs in the courts of Manitoba, unless a consumer statute lets you sue closer to home. This page does not state a corporate legal status.

Changes

We may post a new version of these terms on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that date means the new version applies to website use. It does not rewrite a written scope you have already accepted.
