The company

Replacement and installation for windows and doors that are already in the house

Augms is a window and door company for Manitoba homes. Most of the work is an opening that already exists: a sash that fogs or will not move, a front door with daylight around the slab, a patio door that drags, or a pane that has failed while the frame is still sound.

Homeowners call for that. So do people cutting a larger view, adding a room, or turning a basement into a bedroom, and property managers who need a punched window or an entrance rather than a glass tower. We measure the opening, supply the unit, and install it ourselves. The quote names the opening. It is not a package chosen from a photograph.

Replacement keeps the hole you have. Installation cuts or enlarges one. Glass repair stays on a frame that can still lock. Those are different prices, which is why the service list keeps them apart. The visit itself is written out in how it works.

Doors

Entry, side, and patio

The front door, a side door, and the wide glass door to the yard. Door replacement begins with the frame that is there now.

Repair

Glass before a new frame

A broken or fogged pane can be replaced on its own. If the sash is finished, the whole unit is the honest scope. See glass repair.

Why replace

Three reasons openings get replaced

01

The seal or the sash has failed

Fog between panes, a meeting rail that no longer meets, or a door sweep that has turned to dust.

02

The opening no longer operates

Painted-shut windows, a slider that needs a shoulder to move, a latch that misses.

03

The room is asked to do more

A basement becoming a bedroom, a kitchen opened to the yard, a front door that has to seal and still look considered.

Energy

Pane count is a room-by-room decision

Double-pane glass is a common baseline. Triple-pane earns its cost on cold exposures and in houses that are already reasonably tight. We will not print a single U-factor and pretend it arrived on every window.

FAQ

Before you send the form

Questions we hear on this work

How do I get an estimate?

Send the form with the building’s Manitoba postal code and which openings are involved, or call or email. We measure on a paid site visit before we price. A successful form post means the message was accepted for sending, not that it is already in our inbox, and not that a visit is booked.

Do you replace single windows?

Yes. One opening is a complete project. Whole elevations are welcome and are still priced opening by opening.

Can glass be repaired without a new frame?

Often, when the sash is solid. Fogged sealed units and broken panes are a different visit from a full replacement.

Where do you work?

In Manitoba. The office is in Winnipeg. We do not list nationwide coverage on this site.

Request a measured estimate

Share the building’s Manitoba postal code and which openings you want replaced. We will confirm whether the visit is for replacement, a new opening, or glass-only repair. The visit is charged; we do not publish that price here.
