This policy describes how the Augms Windows & Door website handles information you send through the estimate form, phone, or email. It is not a quote, a construction contract, or a product warranty.

What you can send us
The estimate form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the Manitoba postal code of the building, the service you need, a short description of the openings, and a consent confirmation so we may contact you about that request. If you call or email instead, we receive whatever you choose to include.
Do not enter payment-card numbers, social insurance numbers, government identifiers, alarm codes, or lockbox combinations. We do not ask for them. Payment details, if a job proceeds, belong on an invoice, not in the public form.
What the form does
The form posts to a PHP script on this website. The script checks the fields, the building’s Manitoba postal code, and consent on the server. If those checks pass, PHP asks the server mail function to send a message to [email protected], with Reply-To set to the email address you entered after it is validated. The script does not save the request to a database, to a file, or to a session. The postal code is treated as the location of the building, not as proof of where you live.
If you use JavaScript, the page reports success only when the HTTP response is OK and the JSON body has ok set to true. That means the mail function accepted the message for sending. It does not mean the message is already in our inbox, and it does not book a visit. If JavaScript is off, a successful post redirects to a confirmation page. If the fields fail a check or the mail function does not accept the message, the server returns the form with your details still filled in and an error. Neither result is a booking.
A filled honeypot field is treated as a failed send, not as success.
Information collected automatically
These pages do not include advertising trackers or an analytics script. A hosting provider may still keep ordinary connection logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time — so the site can be delivered and secured. Those logs are not an advertising profile we build. How long a provider keeps logs or backups is not known to us and is not controlled by the estimate script.
Cookies
Reading the site does not require us to set a cookie. We do not set analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. Typefaces are stored with this website and loaded from our pages. If a strictly necessary cookie is added later, the Cookie Policy will name it first.
How we use information
- To reply to a request you sent by the form, phone, or email.
- To see whether the building postal code is in Manitoba, which is the area we describe for site visits.
- To prepare a written scope if the visit goes ahead.
- To keep ordinary records of a job that proceeds.
- To protect the site using host logs.
- To meet a legal obligation if one applies to a request we have received.
We do not sell personal information. We do not add estimate requests to a marketing list. We do not pass your project notes to subcontractors or to a window manufacturer for their advertising. There is no CRM attached to this form.
Providers
The site is intended to run on a VPS that can execute PHP. Website hosting and email transport may process connection data or the message so the page can be served and the mail function can be asked to send. How those providers use logs is their own process. We do not document it here.
Retention
As a business practice, estimate requests that arrive in our email are kept in that mailbox for six months, then removed unless a job record still requires them. That six-month period is how we handle mail. It is not an automatic delete function in the PHP script. Host logs and backups follow the provider’s own cycle, which we do not document here because it is not confirmed.
You can ask us to delete a request that did not become a contract, subject to records we must keep if work was performed.
Security
The site is intended to be served over HTTPS. Whether a given request is HTTPS depends on the server and the connection; this policy does not treat a proxy header as proof. No website transmission or inbox is perfectly secure. Use a device you trust, and keep payment and identity documents off the form.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we hold from a call, email, or form request, ask for a correction, or withdraw consent to further contact about a project. If you withdraw consent, we cannot prepare the estimate. Email or call and include enough detail for us to find the request. We may need to confirm we are writing to the right person.

Children
The site is a business service for adults who own, manage, or renovate buildings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
